Go Aggies!

What a great time we had today helping Mike tailgate for the bank before the game! Mike woke me up at 8:30am, I had been up with JR so I got to sleep in for an hour, and asked if we all wanted to come with him to the game. He had only planned to take Courtney, but had extra tickets and needed help passing out rally towels at the Stadium. The only problem was we had to leave (and have all 6 kids plus me ready!)by 9:30. Miraculously we made it, and stopped on the way to the stadium to get us all Aggie tshirts, except JR who already had one as a present from one of our friends. It was the girls' first football game, and they all liked it. Mike got to present a $100 savings account between quarters and took JR down onto the field with him. We also got to sit by Nikki and her friends who came up and tailgated with us and then went to the game too. We made it home about 4:30 and were all tired, that last pic is Apple sleeping on the way home!

Saturday's Warrior

Last weekend we got to see the play Saturday's Warrior at a church by us and it was so wonderful. We got there an hour early and got seats on the front row, so even the little kids could see. It was very touching, Mike and I kept getting teary through the whole thing because of the play's message about families. The girls loved it too and it was a fun family activity that we could all go to, which is rare when you have kids in age from newborn to 16! The bottom pic is Sunshine snuggling with JR before the play.

A Photo Shoot with Aunt Nikki

Nikki shot these at our house when JR was 2 1/2 weeks old. Isn't he precious?

JR's blessing

We blessed JR on Oct. 9, 2011. Mike gave him such a beautiful blessing and the thing that sticks out in my mind the most is he blessed him with the abiblity to withstand the temptations of Satan. I just think that is so important in our world today for him to be successful. You can tell what a proud dad Mike is by his picture with JR! That is Sassy's best friend in the pic with her.

JR at 2 weeks

He had his 2 week checkup, and was doing great. I am not nrsing him at all anymore, his digestive system is too sensitive to lactose, so we have him on Similac Sensitive and he is doing great on that. He weighed 9 lbs. 13 oz. and was 22 1/2 inches long. I love the top pic's shirt, Aunt Melissa made it for him and it is my favorite!

Sleepy baby

Everyone loves sleeping and snuggling with Junior. He is such calm, peaceful boy and we all love to be around him!
