Finally, the Christmas Pictures!!!

Wow, Santa was good to us this year!!! Although we do have to question his sanity a little bit in that Courtney got a bb gun! We figured it must have been temporary insanity, but Lauren loves, loves , loves it so who knows? Wyatt got a little cap bb gun from Grandma and Grandpa, too. We had everybody together on Christmas, and Randy came to visit from California. We got totally spoiled from Aunt Melissa and Uncle Eric who had our names this year. They gave us a ping pong table!, stockings for each of the girls, bows for their hair, new family pictures, tutu's for Courtney and Sunshine, a CHI flat iron! for Sassy and Jo, new books for Apple and a ton of other stuff! Sunshine also got a new Musical Princess Vanity from Gma and Gpa, Jo got a down comforter, and Courtney got a skateboard. Gma loved her Family Proclamation photo album, too. Jo's favorite thing was her new ipod, complete with movies and music. All the ladies were jealous of Sassy, though. She got two New Moon posters from Uncle Mike!

All The Grandkids!!!

For our part of our Christmas present this year, Melissa had her sister Stacy take our pictures. This was the cute one of the grandkids that she gave to my mom and dad. Stacy also did our Christmas cards, and we loved them! You can checkout her website at www.stacysphotography.com to see all of her great work!

The house is sold!!

We closed on our house in Meridian yesterday!!!! A big thanks to Gabe Albert at Assist to Sell for orchestrating the whole thing, and to my husband for all his work on the house and the sale. Now only one house payment, Merry Christmas to us!

Merry Christmas!

This is the card that Melissa's sister did for us. We love it and can't believe she was able to fit us all in there!

The lights!!!

We finished up by seeing all the beautiful lights and eating dinner at Golden Corral. It really made the season magical to get to go to Temple Square and we feel so lucky that we got to go!!

More Temple Square

Just some more fun pictures from our trip!

Christmas at Temple Square!!!

Yesterday the girls got to miss school and we all went to Temple Square to celebrate finishing the Book of Mormon again! We started out by seeing Joseph Smith, Prophet of the Restoration at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building, and it was very moving. Then we went to the North and South Visitors Center and the Tabernacle while we were waiting for the lights to come on. We got home about 10 pm, and it was a long and exhausting day, but so worth it!

Jo's Piano Recital was tonight!

Jo's recital was tonight, she was so nervous but did a great job on her song. She played Joy to the World, and it was so neat to hear it after all her hard work!

Sassy and Courtney's First Dance Recital!!

The girls had their first dance recital last night, and they did great! They each had two songs they danced to, and both did so well. It was so fun to see them in their costumes and to see the dances they had worked so hard on. Uncle Jeff and Aunt Erin brought the girls flowers, and Aunt Nikki and Emily came along with Grandma and Grandpa. It was a good experience for everyone. Now for Jo's piano recital on Sunday...

Last night was Mike's work party, and Aunt Nikki watched the girls while Sassy was at Young Women's. These are the cute gingerbreadhouses they made while we were gone!

Good weather, baths, and Christmas cookies

The weather here is finally beautiful instead of freezing! This was the view out of our window Monday morning. Apple has been loving baths, and has been having so much fun that we had to take a picture of her! Also, the girls really wanted to make sugar cookies last week, so Sassy made the dough and all the girls helped to decorate them. They had a blast and were gone in 2 days!!

Family Birthday Party for Sassy and Sunshine cont'd

I made Sassy the Chocolate Strawberry Celebration Cake from Taste of Home for the party along with Sunshine's Princess Castle Cake. They turned out great and the girls loved helping, and my nephew Wyatt too! Sassy got new boots, her nails done, another Aeropostale sweatsuit, and clothes. Eric also upstaged his sisters and nieces by fitting into the new swim shorts that Grandpa got for Jo and Sassy, much to everyone's entertainment. The highlight of the party was the wild and crazy dancing, thanks to Sassy's new iPod boombox. I have only posted one picture of the dancing just to give you an idea of how wild and crazy it became before we shut it down!
