Christmas Lights at Temple Square

After the kids movie and visit from Santa, we went to visit our cousins who live in Salt Lake, Danny and Janie. They are such a nice family and we always have so much fun visiting with them. Then we headed on down to Temple square. We stopped at the Grand America, and the kids got to see their teddy bear village (underwhelming) and the Gingerbread Forest (awesome). I had to include the pic of Apple smiling, since they are so rare! We rode the Traxx down to Temple Square, which was Apple's favorite part. She loved riding the train! The lights were beautiful this year, it wasn't too crowded or cold, there were carolers and bagpipes playing and it just had a lovely spirit about the place. We had dinner at Little Caesar's (it never tasted so good!) and then headed for home. It went remarkable well for 5 kids, 1 minivan, and 1 full day!
